Multi-instrumentalist and electronic musician Jon Sonnenberg formed a duo with Robert Gutschow, initially known as Pivot Clowj, that performed and recorded in Los Angeles in the 1990s, releasing the album It's Not as If It Were the End of the World in 1998.
