With a style that dabbles in lo-fi rap and even alternative pop/rock, Joony has earned notice as a rising figure in the so-called "SoundCloud rap" scene, crossing over into the pop and R&B charts by collaborating with fellow Marylander, singer Brent Faiyaz.
