Julia Biel

Julia Biel is an English singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist rooted in jazz, folk, and soul. Born in London and a native of Sutton, Surrey, Biel attended Oxford University and played in a band. After she was named Perrier Vocalist of the Year in 2000, she joined the supportive F-IRE Collective (Fellowship for Integrated Rhythmic Expression) and, in 2004 alone, was featured on recordings by Polar Bear, Oriole, and Unity Collective.
