Julian Mercado

Julián Mercado is a Mexican regional singer and songwriter from Caborca, Sonora. Born in 1995 to a musical family which included brother Gerardo Mercado, a well-known singer and accordionist, Julián grew up immersed in the norteño and sierreño traditions. While he published his first solo album in 2016, Mercado first made a name for himself mostly as a writer for other artists, among these Calibre 50, Edgardo Nuñez, El Fantasma, and Régulo Caro.
