Jürg Frey

Composer Jürg Frey writes extremely sparse chamber and vocal works that may verge on sound art. He is also a clarinetist and a festival administrator. Frey's music has been performed at festivals in various countries and by ensembles oriented toward progressive music. Many of his works have been recorded, including a group of string quartets released on a pair of albums by the Quatuor Bozzini in 2025.
