A prolific musician and producer, Jürgen Engler is best known as the co-founder and frontman for German industrial metal/EBM outfit Die Krupps. In 1976 the Düsseldorf-born artist founded the punk band Male, one of the leading lights in the Neue Deutsche Welle (the German iteration of the punk/new wave movement).
