Norway's Karl Seglem is an eclectic, stylistically wide-ranging saxophonist, composer, and producer. Although primarily a jazz musician, Seglem has a deep passion for Norwegian folk music, and often uses it as a jumping-off point for his compositions. Born in Årdalstangen, Norway, in 1961, Seglem received formal music training at Voss Folk High School.
