Daughter of Australian music promoter Michael Gudinski, singer/songwriter Kate Alexa lived out every teenage girl's fantasy when she became an overnight pop sensation while still at school. Born in Melbourne in 1988, Alexa grew up surrounded by music thanks to her parents' roles in the industry, and started writing and recording her own songs at age 13.
