Katie Bates

A songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Katie Bates started writing songs at the age of ten and joined the Christian rock group Celebrate at the age of 13. After playing guitar, bass, and drums in the band over the course of two decades, she headed to Nashville to seek out collaborators for her first solo recordings. Bates struck up a partnership with longtime Dolly Parton producer Kent Wells, and they co-wrote songs for her debut.
