Texas Dixon (b. 1948, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies) and Keith Rowe (b. 22 October 1950, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies) first auditioned for Derrick Harriott in the late 60s, and the producer was so enamoured with their voices that he immediately took them under his wing and into his studio. Backed by musicians of the calibre of Lynn Tait and Hux Brown, they recorded two of reggae's most enduring and versioned staples, ‘Tonight' and ‘Stop That Train'.
