South London rapper Kid Bookie straddles the gap between grime and rock with his heady mix of anthemic, guitar-laden hip-hop. Starting out in the fertile British grime scene, Kid Bookie released his debut single "Evolution 2.0 the Temix" in 2014 before issuing a slew of tracks. In 2020, after a collaboration with Slipknot's Corey Taylor, Kid Bookie embraced metal and by 2024, he'd released the grime and metal full-length mash-up Songs for the Living//Songs for the Dead.
