Kilian Herold

Clarinetist Kilian Herold is active domestically and internationally as a soloist, chamber music player, and orchestral musician. He is also an important educator. Herold was born in Emmendingen in far southwestern Germany on March 24, 1981, and grew up in nearby Endingen am Kaiserstuhl. His education was an international one, with his principal teachers being François Benda in Berlin, John Yeh and Larry Combs in Chicago, and Johannes Peitz in Hannover.
