Biography
John Belew and Christian Void formed Killing Floor in 1989. Originally, they used only samples over hard electronic beats, but eventually added guitarist Marc Phillips in 1991, percussionist James Basore, and bassist Karl Tellefsen by early 1994. In mid-1994, the industrial rock band signed with Re-Constriction and began work on their debut. The self-titled album was released the next year. ~ John Bush
