Biography
King Yella (also known as King Yung Yella) is a drill rapper from the South side of Chicago. A member of the Gangster Disciples gang, his music is intense, gritty, and aggressive, filled with stark narratives about crime, violence, and sex. He began releasing singles in 2010, and has since issued several mixtapes, including Yella Corleone and several volumes of SkeezeWorld. In 2016, while filming a video for the song "Black Lives Matter" (from the mixtape I Think I'm 2pac), he was shot twice, but survived. ~ Paul Simpson
