American rapper Kossisko, who recorded under the name 100s, had released a handful of mixtapes under his previous name before reinventing himself in 2015 as Kossisko.
Born and raised in Berkley, California, a teenage Kossisko's was sent to the Ivory Coast by his mother to attend boarding school; he eventually returned to the U.S. in 2010.
