As its name proudly declares, this Mexican regional fixture hails from Ojinaga, Chihuahua, hometown of the norteño con sax subgenre which incorporates the saxophone as a lead instrument into electronic keyboards and the traditional accordion and bajo sexto. La Fiera de Ojinaga was founded by Mauricio Palma, who surrounded himself with a group of experienced local musicians and secured a contract with Azteca Records.
