Biography
Led by singer and guitarist Manuel España, La Guardia is a rock band from Granada, Spain. Signed by Tubo Escape Records in 1985 after winning a local talent contest, the group issued its debut album, Noches Como Ésta, the following year. The band gradually earned a place of honor in the pantheon of Spanish rock, releasing several albums that deftly combined rock, country, pop, and Andalusian music.
