Scott Niemet, Tim Ramage, Matt Bailey, Adam Bennati, and Chris Bailey first got the idea for an industrial hardcore band with live drums while growing up in Columbus, OH. Appreciating the rage of hardcore, the intensity of industrial bands like Ministry, and the techno of bands like Atari Teenage Riot, the Lack decided to throw it all together on-stage.
