Formed in Dessau outside of Leipzig, Germany, Leave's music is sufficiently complementary to the post-hardcore/emo-inspired sound that was a staple of rock radio in the earliest part of the 21st century. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Martin Eurich, who'd previously played in the bands Arctic Island and All You Can Eat, formed the group with other members of the local scene and quickly got to work both establishing an identity and devising a gimmick or two to attract potential listeners' attraction.
