Born in 1979 in Fuenlabrada, Spain, singer and guitarist Leo Jiménez had been in a few local bands when, at only 19, he was asked to join power metal outfit Saratoga as their lead vocalist. The new lineup proved a masterstroke, as Saratoga went on to become one of Spain's leading heavy metal bands of the early new millennium, with acclaimed releases such as Agotarás (2002) and Tierra De Lobos (2005).
