Levelo

The songs of Malagasy vocalist and songwriter Levelo (born: Rakotoarivelo Jean De Britto Marie G) are best remembered through interpretations by Tarika Sammy, who recorded three of his tunes. Although Levelo performed a highly-acclaimd tour with a trio in 1981, an inability to earn enough money to support himself as a musician, resulted in his fading into obscurity. ~ Craig Harris
