Lich King

Lich King are a thrash metal outfit from Amherst, Massachusetts. Formed in 2004 under the spell of bands such as Slayer, S.O.D., and Exodus, Lich King conjure a faithful reproduction of the 1980s classic thrash metal sound but their lyrics often comment on the genre, bordering on self-parody. The band's first album, Necromantic Maelstrom, appeared in 2007, and was followed in quick succession by Toxic Zombie Onslaught (2008), World Gone Dead (2010), Super Retro Thrash (2011), and Born of the Bomb (2012).
