Canada's LightDreams was a psych and space rock project centered around singer/songwriter Paul Marcano, along with additional songwriters Andre Martin and Cory Rhyon, lead guitarist John Walker, sax player Tim Moore, and bassist Art Lowe. Formed in 1980, LightDreams showcased Marcano's Beatlesque pop with songs directly influenced by physicist Gerard K. O'Neill's 1977 book about humans living in space, The High Frontier: Human Colonies in Space.
