Signed to RCA after his ability to sing, write, and play both guitar and drums was put on display through the Gene Simmons-starring U.K. television program Rock School, Christopher James Hardman -- who went by Lil' Chris -- released his debut single, "Checkin' It Out," in 2006. It reached number three in his native country. A self-titled album was issued just before the end of the year.
