Despite taking his name from Louisville's trademark baseball bat, rapper Lil Slugg hails from the Bay Area and delivers packed bars over bouncy production that recalls the classic West Coast '90s era. The Hayward, California native developed a following online with self-posted tracks on streaming sites, later receiving a co-sign from local staple Mozzy.
