Lílian (Sílvia Lília Barrie Knapp) had enormous success in the 60's during the Jovem Guarda with the romantic duo Leno e Lilian, with hits like "Pobre Menina" (Russel, version by Leno), "Eu Não Sabia que Você Existia" (Renato Barros/Tony) and "Devolva-me" (Lílian/Renato Barros, re-recorded with success in 2001 by Eliana Printes). As a solo performer/composer after the dissolution of the duo in 1968, Lílian had her "Como Se Fosse Meu Irmão" (1975) included in the soundtrack of the film Pixote, selling 500,000 copies.
