Originally named Car, the band that would eventually be called Lincolnville formed in Portland, ME. Made up of singer/guitarist/engineer Colin Decker, bassist/singer Alec Thibodeau, and drummer Ryan Dolan, they released their first album, Lincolnville, in 1996. Recorded at home and released independently, this debut record caught some significant regional attention and the band began opening some high-profile local shows.
