Little Steven Van Zandt is best known as a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. And while that would be enough to satisfy most musicians, it doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of the man's remarkable career. As a songwriter and producer for South Side Johnny and arranger for Springsteen, Van Zandt was a major player in the Asbury Park scene even before joining its most famous export.
