Residing somewhere between noise-pop and freak folk, San Francisco trio Little Teeth formed in 2004, after drummer Ammo Eisu replied to a Craigslist posting by vocalist/guitarist Dannie Murrie, who was in search of a "feminist rocker chick" to play music with her. After moving to California from Connecticut, where she had attained a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at Yale, Eisu met Murrie in person and the two paired up to make music together in a basement studio.
