An active harpsichordist, organist, and musicologist, Lorenzo Ghielmi wears many hats as a recitalist, scholar, and founder and director of the early music ensemble La Divina Armonia. An authority on the works of Girolamo Frescobaldi and Milanese composers of the 16th and 17th centuries, Ghielmi has also pursued research into Baroque organ building and written scholarly studies on the music of the era.
