Lorenzo Micheli

Guitarist Lorenzo Micheli has performed almost worldwide, having appeared in 25 countries in Europe alone. He is active both as a solo player and in a duo configuration called SoloDuo with Matteo Mela. Micheli was born Lorenzo Micheli Puoci in 1975. He studied guitar in Milan with Paola Coppi and then went on to the Tartini Conservatory in Trieste, graduating cum laude in 1996. Micheli won several competition honors, including first prize at the Guitar Foundation of American Competition in Charleston, South Carolina.
