Los 2 De La S is a Mexican regional duo formed by Johnny Zazueta and Omar Tarazón, two singers and songwriters from Sinaloa -- hence their name, "Two from the S". Both had respectable careers of their own, chiefly as songwriters for other artists, but when Sergio Lizárraga (one of the most powerful figures in the genre) heard them singing together he convinced the two to join forces.
