Lotta Engberg

Lotta Engberg is a Swedish pop singer who rose to national stardom as a Melodifestivalen contestant in the 1980s. She fronted a dansband throughout the '90s, releasing an album more or less every year, and she resumed her solo career after the turn of the century, releasing new material at her leisure. Born Anna Charlotte Pedersen on March 5, 1963, in Överkalix, Sweden, she began her performance career in 1980 as a singer on the television show Nygammalt.
