Biography

b. 12 January 1906, London, England, d. 14 November 1978, Majorca, Spain. A pianist, accordionist, and the leader of a fine, swinging dance band for more than 30 years, Preager was playing piano in various outfits while still at school. After working at various jobs, he became a full time musician in his teens, and in the late 20s toured extensively abroad, and formed bands to play at smart London clubs and restaurants, including Ciro's, the Bon Viveur, Romano's and the Monseigneur.
