Louta (Jaime Martín James, Buenos Aires, 1994) is an Argentine singer, songwriter, and actor. Born to a family with a considerable pedigree in the fields of theater, dance, and music, Louta started out as a DJ but by his early twenties had switched to becoming a performance artist. Soon he developed an underground following on account of his keen eye for combining different genres (pop, trap, electronica, cumbia) and different media into an exciting audiovisual spectacle, all infused with heaps of postmodern irony.
