Biography
A wily hardcore punk rock trio with a penchant for dialing in thick blasts of vintage Metallica and Mudhoney, Nirvana, and Dinosaur Jr.-era grunge, Brooklyn's Low Fat Getting High describe their sound as "post-noise-grunge-core-shredding." Formed in 2011, the band consists of frontman/guitarist Michael Sincavage, bass player Artie Tan, and drummer Kaleen Reading, all of whom were frustrated N.Y.C. musicians that met via classified ads on Craigslist.
