An indie duo from Atlanta, Georgia, Lowertown mix reflective lo-fi rock and angsty, off-balance garage punk in their anxious, confessional songs. They released their more intimate first EP, 2019's Friends, while still in high school, then developed a noisier, more spontaneous sound by the arrival of their first album, 2022's I Love to Lie. Their second full-length, 2026's Ugly Duckling Union, was a self-produced concept LP.
