Lowtide

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, four-piece outfit Lowtide take inspiration from the original shoegaze scene that grew out of the late '80s in the U.K. and that was spearheaded by the likes of My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, and Ride. Originally formed in the mid-2000s under the name Three Month Sunset, Gabriel Lewis (guitars), Lucy Buckeridge (bass, vocals), Anton Jakovljevic (drums), and Giles Simon (bass, vocals) had already made a name for themselves as proponents of dreamy, reverb-drenched shoegaze before changing their name in 2010 to Lowtide.
