Spanish film composer Lucas Vidal was born in Madrid in 1984. Growing up in a musical family, he showed a precocious talent and learned to play piano and flute as a young child. At 16 he attended a summer course at Boston's Berklee School of Music, and was promptly offered a grant to remain at the institution to study Film Scoring and Composition.
