Biography
After retiring his original name of Cretin, guitarist and vocalist Murray Acton got together with drummer John London and bassist Merrick Atkinson to form Lummox in late 1994. Along with fellow Victoria, Canada, natives the Dayglow Abortions, this three-piece brought on their crass, but honest, drunk punk that also looks up to legends D.O.A. The Dayglow Abortion run label God Records eventually released Lummox's first full-length Natural Born Swillers in 1996. ~ Mike DaRonco
