Madalitso Band

Making earthy, joyous music on homemade instruments, Madalitso Band are an African folk duo from the capital city of Malawi. The partnership of Yobu Maligwa and Yosefe Kalekeni dates back to the early 2000s, when they began working as street performers. Over a decade later, they began selling a self-released album at local concerts before breaking out internationally with 2019's Wasalala.
