Biography
Born Mackenzie Johnson in San Luis Obispo, California in 1990, MAKJ DJs and produces epic trance-flavored EDM and progressive house. He started DJ'ing as a teenager, while he was living in China pursuing a career as a racecar driver. He returned to America at age 17, and began spinning at college parties. He learned how to scratch from the late DJ AM. Johnson began releasing original tracks and remixes around 2012.
