Mali Velasquez writes poignant, self-reflective songs rooted in folk music, but with a textured lo-fi indie rock feel. After moving to Nashville from the Texas Panhandle, she recorded her debut album, I'm Green, which was released in late 2023. Velasquez began writing songs in her early teens and continued to hone her deeply emotional lyrics while attending college in Nashville.
