Biography
Folk musician Alessandro Mannarino was born on August 23, 1979 in the city of Rome. He started his first band, Kampina, in 2006 and the group became a regular fixture on the local live scene in the Italian capital. In 2009 he inked a deal with Universal and embarked on a solo career, releasing the award-winning Bar Della Rabbia (2009) and Supersantos (2011). Mannarino's third album Al Monte arrived in 2014 and he continued to perform to sell-out crowds across Italy. In 2017 he delivered his fourth studio album, Apriti Cielo. ~ James Christopher Monger
