Marc Niemann

Marc Niemann is a leading conductor who has offered innovative programming and is active in both opera and symphonic music. He is the general music director of the city of Bremerhaven and chief conductor of the Bremerhaven Philharmonic Orchestra. Niemann was born in Hannover, Germany, on March 28, 1973. He studied piano at the Hochschule für Musik Lübeck with Evelinde Trenkner-Boie and then moved to the Berlin University of the Arts for conducting studies with Lutz Köhler.
