Biography
London's Marcel Wave play tense, wiry post-punk with observational, sometimes spoken lyrics describing city scenes and existential dread. Formed by members of Sauna Youth and Cold Pumas, the quintet released their debut album, Something Looming, in 2024.
The band's lineup consists of keyboard player Lindsay Corstorphine and bassist Christopher Murphy, both of Sauna Youth, along with guitarist Oliver Fisher and drummer Patrick Fisher (both of Cold Pumas, along with Corstorphine), and singer Maike Hale-Jones.
