Marcus Miller

A versatile and highly regarded bassist, Marcus Miller is known for his fluid improvisational chops and funky, contemporary-leaning jazz. Miller initially emerged in the 1970s as a session musician before gaining wider acclaim as a member of Miles Davis' '80s band. By then, he had already played with such luminaries as Lenny White, Grover Washington, Jr., Bobbi Humphrey, Lonnie Liston Smith, and others.
