Mariachi Flor de Toloache (aka Flor de Toloache) are an award-winning, all-female mariachi group from New York City. Founded in 2008, the group is led by singers Mireya I. Ramos and Shae Fiol. In keeping with the mariachi tradition, the group was originally a trio whose instrumentation included harp, violin, and vihuela. They eventually grew into a quartet, then a septet, and eventually a ten-piece orchestra, but can -- and do -- perform in any configuration that suits a particular environment.
