Best known as the leader of acclaimed indie rock bands the Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon, Mark Kozelek has built a career out of his evocative, impressionistic songwriting and rich, emotive vocals. Kozelek was born in Massillon, Ohio on January 24, 1967.
