Electronic producer, instrumentalist, and DJ Marley Carroll began his music career at age 17, winning the honor of Best Scratch DJ in a contest in his home state of North Carolina. Combining his skills as a classically trained pianist and percussionist with his deep interest in the electronic arts, Carroll spent the next five years writing, recording, and developing his craft as a producer, resulting in his 2007 debut LP, Melanaster.
